The sad reality of life is that most people are poor not necessarily because of the lack money, but because of the dearth of new and progressive ideas. Whenever mankind has found itself stuck in a rut that leads to stagnation, it has always required new ideas to get him out and propel him on to higher grounds. That fact has not changed. Divine inspiration is that necessary propellant we require to fire our imagination and enable us to confront as well as conquer our fears and achieve seemingly impossible goals. Consequently, uncertain times such as these call for divine revelation so that we can receive from God that which we need to prosper in times of adversity. As Christians, we are strategically positioned to receiving God’s solution for our difficult times. All that is required of us is that we seek Him with all of our hearts so that we can receive all that we need for life and godliness as we are empowered to fulfil our destiny.
When Abraham became despondent and could not see beyond his nose, God spoke to and showed him what the future held for him. When Isaac would rather move away from where God would have him stay, God promised to prosper him in the difficult situation and unfriendly environment that he was experiencing. When Jacob could not see a prosperous way out of the oppression of Laban, his uncle and father-in-law, it took God’s command to “Look up and see” to inspire him to do what was necessary to get out of the logjam in which he found himself. The reality is that it will require nothing less for us to overcome whatever difficulty we are facing, for Gods word is that divine light which furnishes the insight that provides the foresight we need to act upon if we are to have good success. It will enable you to see clearly where others are groping and see further than those who can. It will guide you as to which steps to take as you embark on your way to success. In troubled times, divine revelation holds the key that open the door of solutions to prevailing problems. All we need to prosper is to take hold of that key and use it by faith and God’s name will be glorified.
King Nebuchadnezzar was not renowned for his piety, but he was recorded above giving glory to God. What brought this about? A pious man in the person of Daniel provided the solution to the king’s knotty problem by means of divine inspiration. When the world could not provide the solution, God came through with the answer through Daniel and the world was in awe of God. Apostle Paul said that the whole world is earnestly waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God which we are. The world needs to see that our God is surely the God of all gods and the Lord of kings and Presidents and that can only come about as we use our divinely inspired ideas to meet the needs of the world. So why not ask God for inspiration to positively impact your world. God wants to inspire you so that you can aspire to be the best He made you to be. This is the essence and power of revelation. Plug in and change your world.
Prayer:
Lord, your word assures me that nothing is impossible with you. I ask for your insight today to tackle the difficulties I am presently facing. Increase my horizon and enlarge my borders of influence, so that the world will be able to say that my God is the God of gods and the Lord of all kings and Presidents to the glory of your name. Amen.
