You know that there is financial troubled times ahead when the experts start talking about it. It is almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy because once the warnings gather pace and confidence in the system starts collapsing, nothing can stop its momentum and recession is the usual and unfortunate endpoint. People are just wizening up to the eternal truth that what you say is ultimately what you get because as the bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue.
So, is it wrong for the financial experts to sound the alarm when there are verifiable economic indicators proving that a recession is in the offing? You can say the same of your doctor, mechanic or experts in different fields of human endeavour. They are trained to spot those things that would escape our attention and so forewarn us to prepare to rectify any problem. Nevertheless, we must understand the perspective from which they are operating. We also need to differentiate between facts and truth. Facts are empirically defined – you can touch, feel, see and sometimes smell them. Truths on the other hand are eternal and unchanging spiritual principles upon which the spiritual world is based and by which it operates. Since the spiritual world is on a higher plane than the physical, it supersedes and is able to dominate and impose its will on the latter, thus transforming facts into whatever truth dictates. It was on this principle that God created the world by making order out of a chaotic world. So, how did He do it? By speaking His word and decreeing order over chaos and the result is the world as we know it.
So, how does this apply to you? It implies that you are the prophet over your own life. Hence, you have the power to make your world however you want it and you can do this by speaking God’s eternal word over the current chaotic facts of your life as you unleash God’s creative power to execute the decrees of your word and so transform your world. Speaking God’s word causes the eternal reality of heaven to alight on and dominate the transient reality that is your trouble in this world and change it for good. In this way, you will have what you say and your life will glorify God.
Of course, there is recession in the world, but the last time I looked, there was no such thing in heaven. So, if you want to continue in economic, health, relationship or any other kind of crunch that is afflicting your life, you are welcome to do so. If however, you would like to experience heaven on earth and plug into God’s recession-proof provision, this is the opportune time to start to do so by speaking God’s life-giving and death-repudiating word over your life and situation. If you desire to prosper in the midst of famine, start confessing or speaking God’s word of prosperity over you life and in due time you shall get whatever you say. You can bet your life on His word.

Father, your words in my mouth are spirit and life. I speak life and prosperity over my life today and command your goodness and mercy to follow me all the days of my life. I decree that I shall be like a watered garden and my life shall radiantly bloom in the desert of life. Your provision shall not fail in my life in Jesus name. Amen.
